History: The beaches of Santa Monica have a new visitor. An inhuman worm-like beast is living right below the sand, snatching up anyone unfortunate enough to be right below it. No one knows where it came from, or if they can truly destroy it.

Notable Kills: This worm predates Graboid hunting strategies by exactly a decade.

Final Fate: The worm is eventually blown up, though some remain skeptical if the worm’s pieces will regenerate into new worms or not. They might...

Powers/Abilities: Can travel across the underground sands with ease.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 3-This beast has a terrifying way of killing you, but that's really it. It's an extremely cheap-looking prop, and if help is close, it is possible to be pulled out of its grasp, albeit with some injuries.

Trivia: -A real-life worm with a similar strategy is the Bobbit Worm. This beast may not be any bigger than a foot long, but it hides in the ocean floor, snatching any fish that dares go near a slightly sunken area of sand with its razor-sharp jaws. It's called the Sand Striker for a reason and it looks even more terrifying than this film's worm.
